SOMALIS AND WEDDING CRASHING
So what is it with the majority of Somalis and wedding crashing? Now, let me first make it clear that I'm not saying wedding crashing is also not common among the males, but I'm talking about the females because I'm a female and the majority of Somali weddings I have attended are segregated. Wedding crashers extremely annoy me. There are a lot of girls who actually attend a wedding every weekend and they do not even personally know the couple getting married. Neither were they invited. They just want an excuse to get dressed up, eat free food (who doesn't love free food though?), and have fun. For many of these girls, crashing weddings is similar to the act of simply going out on a Saturday night. Wedding crasher, you are despicable and annoying. "But I'm harmless!" you say.
